FFL Overwatch Is Not Compliance Software
FFL Overwatch is a business operations platform that provides productivity tools for Federal Firearms License holders. While the platform includes features that interact with compliance-related data (such as bound book entries, acquisition records, and ATF form data), it is expressly not compliance software.
You, the FFL holder, bear sole and complete responsibility for:
- The accuracy and completeness of all bound book (A&D) entries
- Timely recording of acquisitions within the 7-business-day federal requirement
- Proper completion and retention of ATF Form 4473 records
- Compliance with all federal regulations under 27 CFR Parts 478 and 479
- Compliance with all applicable state and local firearms regulations
- Verifying that any data extracted, suggested, or populated by the platform is accurate before committing it to any official record
FFL Overwatch never automatically commits data to your bound book or any compliance system. All compliance-related actions require explicit human review and approval. The platform is designed to assist your workflow, not replace your judgment or legal obligations.
Errors in ATF compliance records can result in felony charges, license revocation, and substantial fines. Always verify data independently and consult with qualified legal counsel for compliance questions.
AI-Generated Content
FFL Overwatch uses artificial intelligence across multiple features. AI is used for:
- Invoice data extraction — AI reads supplier invoices and extracts fields like serial numbers, model numbers, pricing, and quantities
- Email drafting assistance — AI generates email drafts based on context, tone preferences, and business data
- Smart pricing recommendations — AI analyzes market data, cost basis, and MAP rules to suggest retail pricing
- Customer support drafting — AI generates response drafts for customer inquiries

All AI-generated content is presented as suggestions and drafts. No AI output is acted upon without explicit human review and approval. AI systems can and do make errors, including:
- Misreading characters in serial numbers or model numbers
- Incorrectly extracting pricing or quantity information
- Generating email content with factual errors or inappropriate tone
- Providing business advice that does not account for your specific circumstances
- Making pricing suggestions that may not reflect current market conditions
You must review all AI-generated content before taking action. The Company is not liable for any damages resulting from reliance on AI-generated content without proper human review.
